We took part in outdoor learning day this week. We had great fun getting outside to practise writing our tricky words and letters with chalk on yard.

We had great fun dressing up and making hats like Winnie from the book 'Room on the Broom' for art. 

We have been learning about autumn and food this month in Aistear. We have been having lots of fun doing broccoli print paintings,  playing in the cafe role play area, creating menus for the cafe, playing the lunch box game, making soup in the water tray, recreating the story of the enormous turnip in the sand tray and lots more!

We were so lucky to go on a nature walk this week! Look at all of the fun things we found when we were getting to know the natural environment around our school! So much fun! 

We've been so lucky to be learning all about the number 5 in the Oak & Sycamore classes this week! Look at the fun we had making sure these monsters had the right amount of eyes!! 

Oak & Sycamore classes have started their new topic in Aistear this week - we are learning all about You & Me! Check out the fun we're having at each station! It's brilliant fun! 

We have begun our new theme, you and me, for the month for aistear this week! To begin what better way than to trace the outline of our own bodies and colouring them in! it was tremendous fun! What a way to begin Aistear for the month!
